On 24 December, Christians celebrate the Christmas Eve & there is a nightly prayer meeting in the cathedral, which runs until 12 o'clock in the night. At 12 o'clock, people celebrate Christmas with their loved ones and celebrate happiness. It is an opportunity for cheerful family and relatives gatherings and festivities. Christmas has always been a time of family get-together. Today it is additionally a children’s celebration. They sing Christmas carols in reminiscence of Christ’s birth.

One of the great attractions of the Christmas festival is ‘Christmas tree’. Christmas tree has a special significance on Christmas Eve. Together with faith, beliefs of health and prosperity are also linked. The most elegant Christmas preparations before December 25, there is also a Christmas tree decoration. On this day Christmas tree is planted in the courtyard of the house. A cake has special significance at the Christmas festival. On this day people congratulate the festival by offering cakes to each other. Cakes, Muffins, Brownies, Milkshakes etc. these are the sweet dishes which is also prepared and offered by peoples on this occasion. By making the form of Santa Claus, the person divides toffee gifts to children.

Today, Christmas isn't just a celebration of the Christians, but, in a few places, Christmas is additionally celebrated by Non-Christians and share the happiness & merriment of the Christians.
