1. Chakrata


Chakrata is a small and beautiful hill town, which is called ‘City of Dreams' for the peace-loving people. Here you can enjoy the beauty of nature too much. Here are good options available for camping, rafting, trekking, sunset points, horse riding and etc. Here you can see Tiger Falls, Lakh Mandal, Moigad Falls, Kanasar, Ramlal Gardens, Dev Forest Places. Chakrata, which is situated about 100 km from Dehradun, gives you the feeling of heaven on earth. In winter there is too much cold. Therefore, between March to June and October to December is a good time for visiting here. Chakrata is a unique beautiful tourist place in itself.



2. Lansdowne


Lansdowne, located in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state is one of the most beautiful and cleanest tourist spot. The natural beauty of here is hypnotized the heart. In comparison to other hill stations, nature can be seen in its uniquely form here.  Lansdowne's weather is also quite pleasant in summer. This is a good place for camping, boat ride, snow viewpoint, sunset point, nature walk, jungle safari. Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Bhulla Lake, St. Mary Church, Garhwal Rifles War Memorial, Garhwali Mess, Kanvashram, Regiment Museum are the places of tourism.  You can enjoy roaming here from March to November. 3. Chopta


Chopta is an unknown hill station in Uttarakhand's Himalaya lap, whose natural beauty and greenery will give you inner joyful. It is in the Garhwal area on the way to Ukhimath in Uttarakhand. It is covered with green grass and evergreen forests. Chopta is also called 'Mini Switzerland'. Here, the sweet scent of the soil, the dense forest and always runny cold winds will take us to another world. For those who like fewer crowds, Chopta is not less than any heaven. It gives a feeling of a separate and pleasant experience realization to both the common tourists and trekkers. This small Switzerland of India is special for adventure activities such as camping, trekking, skiing, rafting, paragliding, climbing, mountain biking. 4. Palampur


Located in the Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh, Palampur is an ideal resort for nature and art lovers. Pine and cedar forests and clean water streams on high hills, increase the attraction here and it gives Palampur a different magnificence. The large tea plantations spread around it, are its specialty. This place is ideal for spending holidays because it is not just like any commercial tourist destination. Paragliding, stroller, attractive travel of Kangra valley train, make your journey memorable. Here Vindhavsini Temple, Ghaghur, Longha, Art Gallery, Gopalpur, Newgal Park are nice places to visit.  By the way, you can visit Palampur anytime in the year, because here the temperature remains normal. But from March to June and September to November, is the best season to roam here.


5. Solan


Solan district is a beautiful place in Himachal Pradesh. Mostly, people want to go to Shimla in the summer. But in Shimla, there are lots of tourist crowds. In such a way, Solan may be a better option for the summer holidays. Solan is surrounded by dense forests, therefore tourists like it very much. It is also known as the ‘Mushroom City of India’ because there is a large scale of mushroom farming in this area. The season of Solan is pleasant in the whole year. Anytime in the year, you can visit this beautiful place. The temple of Mata Shulini Devi, Kandaghat, Kasauli, Chail, and Dagshai, the Pandav cave above Karol Mountain, Yungdarung Tibetan monastery, Gorkha Fort, Matiwal, Karol Peak and Jatoli Shiva Mandir are the visitable places of here. If you have time, then you can be farming the mushrooms and if there is no time then you can do trekking, etc.


6. Narkanda


By the way, there are many beautiful tourist sites in Himachal Pradesh like Manali, Shimla, Kullu, etc. But among all, there is such a beautiful tourist spot - Narkanda. It is located about 70 km away from Shimla. At this beautiful hill station, you will find less crowd than other places. A series of snow-covered Himalayan Mountains in Narkanda and the green forest on its foothills enthrall the tourists' heart and provide them a magnificent natural scene. Narkanda is a very beautiful place for camping, skiing, trekking, etc. The Mahamaya Temple, Thanadar, Hata Mandir, Hata Peak, Mandodari Temple and American Apples Garden are the places to see here.  Summer season is the best time to visit Narkanda. The climate of April to June is the right time for this place to visit.
