If you're looking for an easy and delicious new dessert recipe, then try this Christmas Dry Fruit Muffins recipe. These simple muffins have all the classic tastes of Christmas. Yes, Christmas is on the way. So friends here is my easy & yummy Christmas Dry fruit Muffins recipe for you which is garnished with honey and almonds.
Makes: 8
Time required: 40 min+ setting time
For the paste:
Self-rising flour 200gm
Mixed dry fruits (chopped finely) 50gm
Baking soda ¾ tsp.
Jowar flour 2tbsp
Desiccated coconut powder 3tbsp
Cream 50gm
Butter 50gm
Powdered sugar 150gm
Cocoa powder 1tbsp
Chocolate powder 1tbsp
Yoghurt 2tbsp
Soda bicarbonate 1tsp
To garnish:
Honey 3tbsp
Almond slices 2tbsp
Method:
Step 1
Combine all the ingredients for the paste- flours, dry fruits, baking soda, coconut powder, cream, butter, sugar, cocoa & chocolate powder, and the yogurt- well together, except the soda bicarbonate.
Step 2
Cover and set aside for 30mins.
Step 3
Add soda bicarbonate.
Step 4
Stir the mixture continuously for 2 or 3min, set aside.
Step 5
Grease a few small muffin tin molds and fill each 3/4th fill with the mixture. Tap to let excess air, if any escape.
Step 6
Bake in preheated oven for 20min at 160degree C. Set aside for 30mim.
Step 7
Demould by tapping gently. Baste the muffins with honey on the upper surface & sprinkle over with almond slieves.
Step 8
If you want to serve hot, microwave the muffins for 30 seconds on high.
